Otterview Commercial Capital, a small-business funding service in Canton, Ohio, offers this loan payment calculator for Stark County, OH owners pricing a gas station purchase, equipment upgrade or other installment loan. It computes three figures: monthly payment, total interest and total repaid. It does not quote rates or approvals; funding partners set terms after their own review.
What this commercial loan payment calculator works out, and what it leaves alone
Enter the loan amount, the annual interest rate and the term in months. The calculator returns the monthly payment on a standard amortizing loan, the total interest paid over the full term, and the total repaid (amount plus interest). That is all it computes. It does not estimate what rate a partner would offer, whether you would be approved, or any fees.
Running the numbers on a Stark County, OH station purchase
A station purchase can involve more than one piece of financing: a term loan for the business, possibly real estate financing for the land and building, and equipment financing for dispensers or coolers. Run each piece separately, then add the monthly payments together and compare the total with the station's monthly cash flow from fuel and inside sales. The gas station and convenience store page explains what partners review, and our post on gas station financing requirements goes further.
Gas station loan requirements the calculator can't check
- Fuel gallon and inside sales history for the station
- The fuel supply agreement and any brand agreement
- Environmental reports for a purchase
- Your own financial history and the seller's records
A payment that fits on paper still depends on the partner's review of these items.
Business loan payoff: what the total tells you
The total repaid is what a loan costs if you make every payment over the full term. This is not a payoff calculator for paying early; to estimate an early payoff, ask the partner for a payoff statement, because prepayment terms differ by agreement. Comparing the total repaid at two different terms (for example, the same amount over a shorter and a longer term) shows how much extra interest a lower monthly payment costs. Terms for a term loan are set by the partner.
Reading the results honestly
- The rate you enter is your assumption, not an offer
- Results assume equal monthly payments and no fees
- Real agreements may add origination fees, require a down payment or use a different payment schedule
- Merchant cash advances are not loans and cannot be modeled with this calculator
